Just an FYI, the word is "proc". It's short for Process, a term that came from the MUD days, when an item might have an ability that requires processing from the server. Lag would sometimes cause the process to be delayed, resulting in phrases like "That took /forever/ to proc!"
Not trying to be a jerk, just thought you might be interested in the etymology of the word.
