yeah, but what you're forgetting is that when you decide to roll alliance/horde or you decide to go scryers/aldor, the costs/benefits are already known. The SSO ties to either scryer or aldor rep takes the 'informed' aspect completely away from the player. when i rolled aldor on my main, i knew exactly why. The same goes for my scryer affiliated alt. What is unacceptable is to suddenly make a completely different faction (SSO) bound by the earlier faction affiliation that was chosen. it simply punishes one group over the other because the player never had the forewarning from blizz so that he/she could make their aldor/scryer choice with all available info. it's pretty foolish in light of all of blizz's attempts to "balance" the game for everyone.
