I think it goes back to those $15 everyone spends to play.

Since we all pay to play we should all expect to enter a world that mostly follows the rules and involve ourselves in populations that have a modicum of respect for each other and themselves.

Names is actually just a small part of a much bigger issue, but its something that people feel than can do something about; it therefore gets a lot of attention.
