Nihilum does it again, downs Twin Eredars
Despite a scare last April 1 that Nihilum would disband, the bleeding edge guild made true on a promise to continue setting world firsts by downing the Twin Eredars Lady Sacrolash and Grand Warlock Alythess on April 10, 6:00pm CEST. The Rogue-less 25-man team were able to down the twin bosses, their first "world first" in the new raid instance, despite EU Realms having the first Sunwell Plateau gate open a day behind the US owing to the time differential. The drops were Boots of the Forgotten Vanquisher, Equilibrium Epaulets, Shiv of Exsanguination, Sin'dorei Pendant of Conquest, and Spaulders of the Thalassian Savior.
Although Nihilum didn't seem to bother getting world firsts with the first three bosses Felmyst, Kalecgos, and Brutallus, whom many guilds were able to down on the first day that Sunwell Plateau opened, they seem to be geared towards downing the remaining bosses ahead of everyone else. The second gate blocks Nihilum's progress so far, preventing them from attempting M'uru. Will Nihilum continue to make World of Warcraft history? The second gate will probably open in a couple of weeks, so we'll find out soon enough.

They made a post about this, apparently the only melee on when they were putting the raid together was a single rogue, so they ran it with 10 healers and no melee group, an admittedly silly group composition.

A "silly" raid composition that apparently made it easier to learn based on some posts. A lot of fights are really anti-Melee, though don't know much about this one in particular.

There has been alot of talk about Nihilum not getting the world firsts on the day 2.4 went live. People need to remember that the EU got 2.4 a day after the US realms. By the time they got a shot at the raid, the first 3 world firsts were gone. Way to go getting first in a post the most times :D

I might be wrong, because I don't care much about the subject. But I believe the 3rd boss world-fist was by, in fact, an EU guild.

They explained in an interview that most of the bosses that are being downed now were ones live on PTR. So since they were able to get the practice in, unlike them where they were unable to, of course it was easy. It was already on farm. In the case of the later bosses and even those not done yet PTR or otherwise they were gonna be on an equal footing with everyone else. This is where they will shine. I'm sure they'll be the 1st to down Kil'Jaeden. Those have their machine down, that's who everyone remembers. Who killed the last boss first..
