WoW Moviewatch: How to Paladin XXIX
Shepiwot is so close to Episode 30 of his How to Paladin series! Episode 29, or XXIX, finds him in Quel'danas and killing Kael'thas. At what point do you think that he'll get a lifetime achievement award? With 71 machinimas under his belt, of which none of them have been sabotaged by me, and one WCM recommendation, we definitely think that he qualifies!

Is there anywhere you can download an MP3 of the main theme music? I think it's hilarious.
I love these videos, perfect representation of what goes on inside the mind of a Paladin player.

How To Paladin is basically the machinima equivalent of a horrific multi-car pileup with bodies sprawled all over the highway: it's a terrible waste of human life, but you just can't stop looking.
That said, I can't wait to see what epic dancing, jumping and spinning awaits us in HTPXXX.

The first time I saw this beautiful beast of a movie "How to Paladin XXIX" from director-writer Shepiwot, I felt gut-punched. Some people winced during the first fifteen minutes of wordless darkness as the Paladin, deep in a mine shaft in the choking heat of Outland, painstakingly digs silver ore out of stubborn rock. Such is the relentless intensity of his character. An ankle-snapping fall down the shaft leaves a lifelong limp but no change in his ramrod ambition, even as oil replaces silver as his unholy grail. As the film bores through the first three decades of the twentieth century, Paladin becomes an amazing oil tycoon of unparalleled ruthlessness. His enemies are man and God. And in the film's final section, a rush of scorching brutality, he takes his revenge on both. His last words burst forth with biblical exultation: "I'm finished."
His triumph is in making us see ourselves in Paladin, no matter how much we want to turn away. Shepiwot — a huge talent with an uncompromising gift for language and composition — are out to batter every cliché Hollywood holds dear. How to Paladin XXIX hits with hurricane force. Lovers of formula and sugarcoating will hate it. Screw them. In terms of excitement, imagination and rule-busting experimentation, it's a gusher.

My favorite part of these video are the viewer comments at the start. I wonder if people are now leaving abusive comments JUST to get included in the reaction roll at the start of the video. :)

If they gave me the choice between breathing and watching more How to Paladin movies.
I'll hesitate a bit, and then choose How to Paladin.
Is that good.
