Guild recruitment videos

This got me thinking. Do other guilds have recruitment videos? I've heard of plenty of guilds putting together videos of each other running around and having a good time or downing a raid boss. I've been in a few of those myself. But an above average recruitment video? That I don't know.
The guild that started this thought process was Epic, on the realm Eldre'Thalas. I've done a pug or two with a few of their members before, and they're nice folks (although they don't know who I am, I'm sure). The video is very professionally done, has a noticeable 'plot' to it, and is of high quality. Props to Phytrion, a member of their guild, who put it together for them. One thing that I find is a little funny is that the character in the end has a complete Tier 4 protection Warrior armor set and is carrying the Bulwark of Azzinoth that drops off of Illidan. It's a cool shield, so I know why they used it, but the combination is a funny choice.

Funny you should mention that he's got a Bulwark. The reason why I chose that shield (beyond that it looks cool) is how it sits on the model when it is being held. It worked better for the vid ... although it is a little out of place with all that T4.

Thanks for the nice words about our guild and the video. Timmay!!! as we call Phytrion has won some contests back in the day when Blizzard had them for videos. He and I have been on E'T together since it was started with both of us taking some extensive breaks as RL and WoW can be a tough combo. We've got Mag/Gruul on Farm after a couple weeks and plan to get through most of TK in the upcoming week.

Wow impressive video! A great idea and really says alot about a guild who takes the time to put something together like that. Even though the T4 warr set is dated, its still badazz looking :P

It's a very well done video, but it would have been a lot more effective as an ad if it weren't so long and slow.

The T4 was put in because Timmy just likes the look of it. Same with the Illidian shield. I agree it starts out a bit slow, but as my previous post stated, it will be edited in the near future as we get more footage. Thanks again for all the input.

I don't mean to bash this entire guild by any means. However, Once grouping with 4 people of this guild(Epic) (on Eldre'Thalas obviously) in Magister's Terrace I was kicked for absolutely no reason whatsoever when we wiped twice (That last pull before Keal) and to my knowledge it wasn't my fault at all, and if it was nothing was ever said. Now a few people in the group actually came off as nice people, but I suppose, when in doubt kick the non-guildie.

Hey there. That's.. I don't know how to say this politely. But... is that really your tabard? Black, white border, skull and crossbones?
It just says "10 year old badass" to me. Like, "I scraped the F-word into my desk at school" badass.
All is not lost though, you can change tabards, right? Just costs another 10 gold? Black and White, with a skull and crossbones, no less, has been done to death. It's the ultimate "bad boys club" cliche.
Anyway. I'm not here to offend anyone. Maybe you can reconsider it. The tabard at the climax of the video just made me cringe.

Pretty nifty. Good idea, nice looking video. Bit long and slow-paced, but that's been covered. Cool.
