Premonition gets the Eredar Twins US first!

They walked away with the Golden Bow of Quel'Thalas, Shroud of Redeemed Souls, Shoulderpads of Vehemence, Sin'dorei Pendant of Triumph, and some lucky Warrior/Hunter/Shaman walked away with a pair of Tier 6 Bracers. Though Nihilum beat them to the world first, there's no denying they put plenty of work into this kill. Congratulations to Premonition, and good luck on M'uru when Rohendor decides to get out of the way!
I must add, it's neat to see some of the old school sets in many of these first-kill shots. They're still way cool, but you can see Blizzard's trend of making things more and more over the top as WoW evolves. I can't honestly say I have a problem with that. As much as I adore Faith, Absolution blows it away as far as style and the smaller details.

... too bad Premonition is a bunch of douche bags, though.
want to read a little story? got some time to kill? 20+ page epic thread of FAIL in the wow Raid and Dungeons forum, where it goes from "OMG QQ THIS FIGHT IS IMPOSSIBLE AND TOTALLY RANDOM BECUZ IT'S TAKING YOUR USA SUPOERHEROS 2+ DAYS TO DOWN IT" to "nihilum go the kill" to "OMG THEY CHEAT AND PLUS SCREW EUROPE, WAH WAH, MOM I NEED MILK AND COOKIES".
gg premonition, real classy.

I read some of that thread. I saw Premonition saying "Nice fight to start off with, shame about the randomness" followed by 20 pages of small children bickering and posting pictures of animals... if that is an "epic thread of FAIL" then the fail is all on the part of people like you.

Personally, I think that if the patch is released at the same time in the US and the UK, then it doesn't really matter who was the first in either if they weren't the first in both.
Not that I want to diminish their accomplishment, but this is like reporting who came in second, or third.

Grats Premo.
And @2. I think this post from the thread (from Premo) is pretty reasonable:
" I just wish there was a way that they could incorporate a challenging encounter that tests a raid's skill and gear without having to resort to such absurd randomness, but I really don't think that is possible at this point. "
You'll note that they were simply saying they thought it was overtuned - so do other high end guilds - and that some of the mechanics favored luck. Have fun trying to down Attumen though...
