I mean, it's fine and all to say 'we're looking into it' but it's irritating as hell to have server stability issues 3+ years into agame after a patch. It speaks to inadequate testing and the fact that it's still there 2 weeks later means that they 'we're paying attention' line starts to wear thin.
It's one thing when an external issue with their ISP causes issues, but when a patch gets deployed that's down to Blizzard. Heck, how many issues have we seen with the US servers lately? At some point they need to actually figure stuff out and not break it with patches. And if something DOES slip through they need to fix it faster.
Oh and for the inevitable 'you don't know how complex software is...' comment.. I do. I've been in software development for 20 years. And if my product was shipping server breaking bugs 3 years into the cycle I'd be pissed.
