So to follow up on my comments in the Oceanic thread... yet again all we get from Blizzard is "we're working on it." Now, I *ASSUME* they are since, you know, it's their job to keep realms up. But at some point it would be nice (and great service) if they told us WTH was going on and what they were doing to actually prevent this from happening again. I don't expect perfection, but this far into the life of the game and at a stage when there's not explosive growth but rather steady demand, it's not too much to expect 99% or better uptime (outside of maintenance). Heck, I'd love to know what they need downtime every week for maintenance for! Other large traffic sites (think Google, Yahoo, eBay, AMazon etc) don't go down this much and don't go offline for hours every week. I'm not looking for trade secrets, just some basic info. /vent over. :P
