I kinda like the earlier idea that the Infinite dragonflight actually has.. misguided morals. What they do yell in Morass is interesting.. that wars could have been stopped. I mean, in theory, doesn't Malygos go crazy on all the magic users in the expansion because he thinks they're going to cause another massive war? Maybe the infinite dragonflight are tired of the passivity of the dragons and are simply idealists. They think the changes they are making are for the best... perhaps that is why they are also absent in Hyjal. They know letting the demons win isn't for the best. They may have spent so long messing around in history that they forget what effects what. We lay them out neatly going, "Well, if this hadn't have happened...and that would have affected this... and that... and then doom for all." but the infinite dragonflight might only think relative immediate reaction to events. Fel orcs in Azeroth= wars and lots of people die. Thrall escaping= Horde vs Alliance and lots of people die. Cleansing of Strathole=Lots of people dying. Then Scourge with their leader getting even more powerful AND lots of people dying there and elsewhere. Maybe, in their own way, they're trying to be magnanimous but can't comprehend the reprecussions?

*nods* Malygos isn't evil at all. He lives for one thing, to watch over arcane magic and prevent its abuse. That's the charge given to him by the Titans. From his perspective, the mortal races are the immoral ones in that they use and abuse arcane magic - heck, the night elves would probably agree with him.

I wouldn't go as far as saying that the mortals using magic are immoral to him. He's been insane for the last ten thousand years or so when Deathwing betrayed they other aspects. He's just now beginning to recover and thinks the mortals will bring the Burning Legion back to Azeroth. He probably wouldn't care so much if he took a moment to go "wait.. the Legion was defeated again.. Oh. Okay the war is off!"After discussing this with Miss Anteia, Arthas really didn't have a choice in the matter. Jaina and Uther ignored the big ugly demon going around converting peasents. So Strat was screwed either way. Arthas killing them was just the better option. There's alot of aspects to the original fight, so how Blizzard handles it will be interesting. There's obviously the killing of the towns people. But the killing a race against Malganis to stop him from corrupting them so that means half the time is spent killing Malganis to slow him down. And then you also have a small base you have to defend against Scourge attacks.
