It Came from the Blog: LFM

It Came from the Blog is now recruiting. We are a fun guild that is looking for casual members. We are always happy to help... when we're not on our mains on our regular servers. If you are interested, PST.
I always feel bad for the guilds who are so hungry for members, they will invite anyone who sends them a tell. Yet, here I am making the same offer. If you are interested in hanging out on Zangarmarsh (U.S.) with WoW Insider writers, participating in monthly events and wearing a prize-winning tabard, then you are cordially invited to join us in the Horde guild: It Came from the Blog.
Some of us will be on from time to time, but if you want to be assured of a guild invite, please join us this weekend (Edited for accuracy):
- When: 3pm PDT, Saturday, April 19th
- Where: Zangarmarsh (U.S.)
- Faction: Horde
- How: Send Robiness a tell for invites

It's alive!! I had stopped playing on Zangarmarsh because I thought ICFtB had died out. I still have fond memories from the Stampede to Stormwind last year!
Naix Apr 18th 2008 9:58AM
Is Zangarmarsh a pvp, pve, or rp server?
Robin Torres Apr 18th 2008 10:01AM
PvE

I've never actually said this in a post on this site, or any other. Actually, I always kind of roll my eyes when I see a post that says this, but...
Proof that WOWInsider is For The Whored!
Milktub Apr 18th 2008 10:44AM
Isn't everyone for the horde?
Like, people actually play Alliance? I thought for sure those were all dynamic NPCs!
Krystalle Voecks Apr 18th 2008 10:59AM
Heh. Actually, faction was determined at random when we were screwing around on the night that Blizzard was making the announcement for SC2.
Nothing more nefarious than that.
Zali Apr 18th 2008 12:20PM
Milktub,
Actually no. Many of those Alliance players are real life people sitting at their computer just like you. Although about half of the Alliance are dynamic NPC's just to attempt to make it look like there are more of us than there really are.
There are two types of people in the world: Sadists, who play Whored and like to inflict serious face smashing and blood letting on others... and Masochists, who seem to prefer to have their faces smached, and their blood let.
Whored = Easy Mode. 5 to 1 odds is Easy Mode no matter how you slice it.
Alliance = Challenging up hill battle against terrible odds, with very few, but much more satisfying, victories.

Any plans for a EU version?
Moon Apr 18th 2008 9:48AM
We need an EU Version =/
Percinho Apr 18th 2008 9:57AM
I'd be down with an EU version. Come on WoWI, show the EU some love...
Archex Apr 18th 2008 9:24AM
Horde?!?!?! C'mon, that's my server, I was excited for about 2sec until I read "Horde".
Matthew Rossi Apr 18th 2008 9:45AM
I have an alliance toon on Zangamarsh. I never play it, though. Jeez, I'm neglecting all my alts.
robotrock Apr 18th 2008 9:37AM
Is that a carebear realm?
Charlie Apr 18th 2008 9:41AM
Yes! I always wanted to join this guild. It just so happens i have a 37 (38?) shamman on that server.
Awsome.
Kovacs Apr 18th 2008 9:48AM
Um L2 PvP server ::question mark::
prudychick Apr 18th 2008 10:32AM
I still have my now 60 Lock in ICFTB. I rarely see people on. Whoohooo maybe just maybe now.
virocity Apr 18th 2008 10:58AM
ICFTB is been all but dead. There are no monthly events. 99% of the original invitees have all gone back to their mains or left zmarsh because no one is ever to around to talk to much less help with anything.
Nice to see you're trying to resurrect it...my guess is 3-4 months from now it'll be dead again.
Mike Schramm Apr 18th 2008 11:17AM
We're not resurrecting it as an ongoing guild -- if you want to find help leveling, good guild conversation, or a raiding group, you'll have to stick with your own guilds, just like all of the writers here. But we do want to use this guild for monthly meetups and events. This was never meant to be a primary guild for anyone -- there are too many different types of players reading WoW Insider to try to get them all to stay in a guild. Instead, this is just a fun guild that we'll use for some occasional events ingame.

Only thing that could make this better is if one of the raids that followed in was made up of druids in bear form!
