It Came from the Blog: LFM

It Came from the Blog is now recruiting. We are a fun guild that is looking for casual members. We are always happy to help... when we're not on our mains on our regular servers. If you are interested, PST.
I always feel bad for the guilds who are so hungry for members, they will invite anyone who sends them a tell. Yet, here I am making the same offer. If you are interested in hanging out on Zangarmarsh (U.S.) with WoW Insider writers, participating in monthly events and wearing a prize-winning tabard, then you are cordially invited to join us in the Horde guild: It Came from the Blog.
Some of us will be on from time to time, but if you want to be assured of a guild invite, please join us this weekend (Edited for accuracy):
- When: 3pm PDT, Saturday, April 19th
- Where: Zangarmarsh (U.S.)
- Faction: Horde
- How: Send Robiness a tell for invites

Yay! Return of ICFTB! I'll be sure to poke my head in and say hi.

OK, I'd like to join a new guild. What's the best way to find one? I have lvl 35 pally for casual adult play only, I do NOT want to hit 70 in minimum time. I am new to MMORPGs. I am looking for a guild that will let me add stuff to the guild bank for low/new players or alts and will help me find instance groups for Deadmines, Blackfathom, Shadowfang and so on. Also, looking to help / get help on quests.
I play on Arygos (mostly) but this must be a challenge across all servers. Any suggestions?

At the moment, the best ways to find a new guild that meets your requirements are:
1) Read the official Forums for your server - Guilds will often post recruitment information there, and can go in to a lot more detail then they could by spamming general or trade channels
2) Join a lot of Pick Up Groups and pay attention to the guilds the other members are in. Often you will find clusters of 3 or 4 players in the same guild that just need to PUG the last few to fill out a 5 man run. Watch how they play, and how they interact with each other. If they seem cool, then once the run is over feel free to ask them about their guild, what they think of the leadership/rules/other members, and if all sounds kosher, if they are willing to invite you.
3) I cant tell you about the third yet, but lets just say I am working on a project in my free time that will help someone in your situation immensely. More to come on that, keep your eye on WoWI in the next few months. ^_^

Was very surprised to get an invite request today!
I'll have to set up an insta-reply script!
I have been soloing in the Guild for the past several weeks. My Rogue (who I actually started for the guild) is at 61 now.
Look forward to some lively Guild chat!

Hmm, I think I'll join just for the fun of it.
What to pick, what to pick...

Here comes another alt... oof

Is there any horde equivalent of a Hogger raid we could do?

I had my mage in ICFtB for quite a while, but when it started waning I formed a Horde Alt Guild for my main Alliance guild (also on Zangar). If I can find a spare character slot, I'll make another Hordie and say hi. :)

This sounds... intriguing.
I do not have a toon on that server, but if it is alright to create a lowbie... one who won't be played much (at all), but will mostly just show up from time to time to listen in and participate in events that don't take much in the way of levels... would that be alright?
Robin Torres Apr 18th 2008 2:39PM
That would be perfect :) Most of the events will be tailored to lowbies so that everyone can participate.

Hey!
Count me in! I have a Lowbie Tauren named Dzo.
