Tuesday April 29th maintenance

...and Bornakk looked upon the World (of Warcraft) in its seventh day and said: "Let there be maintenance." And so it was.Bornakk posted on the General Discussion Forums this afternoon that there will be maintenance tomorrow on all realms from 3:00 a.m. PDT until 11:00 a.m. PDT. Additionally, the forums themselves will be undergoing maintenance from 5:00 a.m. PDT until 8:00 a.m. PDT. You will not be able to log in to the forums, but you will be able to read them.
Patch 2.4.2 was announced last week and is on the PTR right now. However, it is unlikely that the patch will come tomorrow. The PTR phase of minor patches almost always lasts two weeks. Of course with that said, I'm sure I'll be eating my words tomorrow as 2.4.2 goes live. We'll all just have to stay tuned and find out!

You know what's good about maintenance day? It always reminds me not to skip work on Tuesday. I almost did last week, but I stopped myself before I made the call into my boss.

There've been a number of Tuesdays where I thought to myself, "Self, why not just sleep in, skip work, and play WoW?"
Then I'd think better of it, go to work, and find out there was maintenance that day anyway. I've dodged about five or six bullets by simply having a good work ethic.
Then again, it would've been a good chance to catch up on my queue of console games.

Actually, I wouldn't be surprised to see the patch go live tomorrow. They haven't been giving 12 hours advance notice whether it'll be maintenance or restarts in recent weeks, so I'm not sure why they'd be starting now unless it's because there's something on the schedule.

Many minor patches have only gone up on the PTR for less than a week.

Hi, can anyone tell me what time the servers will be back online in Melbourne, Australia (can't for the life of me work out PDT conversion)
