Breakfast Topic: Emote humor
I have mentioned before that I am a sucker for practical jokes. I fall for emote humor all the time. In EQ, I fell for the pickpocket joke. And the BG joke that is definitely a little mean has gotten me as well. So I am always happy to hear that I am not the only sucker around and tonight much of my guild fell for a little ninja loot humor.
Narayan is a Boomkin. So there is no way he should be looting the Seventh Ring of the Tirisfalen. Even if he were a Feral Druid, he still wouldn't need all of that shield stuff. But for a minute, most of the people in Tempest Keep seemed to forget that loot text is green and not orange. To say that the tank was a little miffed would be an understatement. But my guildies have a great sense of humor, so there will be no ensuing drama reported in Guildwatch.
Have you fallen for an emote practical joke? Or are you the emote joke perpetrator? What is your favorite /e humor?

/emote has been kicked out of the guild by .
Guildie 1: WHAT???
Guildie 2: Why'd you kick your hubby?
Guildie 3: Why does he still have the guild tag?
Wife: /emote has kicked Angus in the nuts too.
I've also seen /emote has left the guild.
They're immune to it nowadays though. :/

That's too much for me, now opening a portal to TB after a raid, yep, that's right up my alley.
I used to open them up to Silvermoon becuase I thought more people should see it, but now people just hop a flight to QD.
:(

I had fun with this one for several days. It got old after a while though.

My rogue has spent too much time in starting areas doing the pick pocket emote. I even have diffent amounts macro'd so I can con lots of n00bs before they catch on.

My favorite /e joke was back in Everquest, when you had to figure out your experience by "bubbles" because there was no exp number to tell you how close u were to leveling.
My favorite one was yelling "You know, you can type /ex to find out how much experience you've earned."
Then watch all the people leave the zone because they've just run the command to "/ex(it)" the game.... ROFL. That really sucked for people when the Everquest game took 10 mins to load in the first place.

Back in my way-noobish days, as opposed to my current noobish days, I did my first BG's as a lowly level 19. I struggled and struggled. A "kindly" hunter took me under his (cuz it was a male nelf) wing and told me how the BG was to work. "If you get really frustrated, just type /camp. That temporarily makes you invulnerable to all hits and will give you a chance to breathe. It lasts for 2 minutes and has a 45 minute cooldown." Hey, what a nifty trick. 3/4ths of the way through the BG, getting more and more frustrated with myself, I whisper. "I think I'll camp for a sec and get my bearings." "Okay, sure. See ya."
Um....yeah

The best is using an absurd number of spaces to make something appear on the next line.
For example:
[Me]: hmm....
[Someone else]: WTS [some BOP item] PST
And then watch all the people in Trade make fun of the other person for trying to sell a BOP item :) I also once used this to convince people in the Barrens that Arthas was attacking. The responses were quite hilarious.

Not really emote related, but when my raiding guild required everyone had CTRaid, I named my pet after the main tank. CTRaid didn't know the difference between my pet dying and the main tank dying...so I'd run it off into an AOE zone during a boss fight and let it die. CTRaid would immediately announce to the raid "The main tank has died!" Good times...

I did one similar to your ninja loot, except I did it in officer chat, which is the same dark green used when looting an item.

One of my most favorite things to do on a PvP server with my Rogue main is stealth around in lowbie area's with a lot of humanoid targets. Find someone grinding on one of the mobs and Sap one closest to him followed with /y [common] BUR
or for alliance:
/y [orcish] KEK
then watch them run away for fear of imminent ganking.
