@10I remember Novalogic not allowing the general public access to their area, only press and industry folks.On the one hand I can see them not wanting to deal with a "spectacle". Subjectively however, I would think that it helps to sell games.For some developers however, e3 might not have been able to meet their needs. Would blizzard have been able to put on a show like Blizzcon2 at e3? I highly doubt it.
