Fishing makes leveling coking trivial... my fishing is only up to 285, but my cooking is up to 350 without even trying... and all of this in about 8 hours of fishing/cooking...

I find a strange reluctance on my part to level fishing and cooking. It's only a few hours of play time, and I've spend far more time and money than that on my primary, which being engineering didn't generate a lick of revenue. I suppose it's because fishing is so indescribably boring. It's more boring than any other skill I can think of because it's the same endlessly repetitive task that can't be ignored. Nothing to find, no decisions to make, just casting and clicking.
It requires enough of your mouse and keyboard time that it's hard to chat in /guild without missing casts, to make it worse.
