Yeah, Blizzard really hates warriors. It shows clearly in the way they designed all the end-game raid bosses to be preferentially tanked by warriors. Yeah, they hate you alright.

Yes, Helig, because it's easy for a warrior coming up through the instances to gear...Oh, you'd rather have a paladin? Oh okay. I'll go... do something else and hope someone will take a prot warrior to sit in the back of a raid so that I can collect gear enough to tank a boss.Warriors who leveled to 70 before the paladins got entrenched do not understand how difficult it is for warriors who came up after, and who are not getting to tank five mans. That's where the gear they need to start Kara is. That's where the experience they need is. And they're not getting it now. I'm thrilled I leveled to 70 early and yet I still experienced some of it.

Yes, because the guy advertising in trade "LF1M dungeon tank" for the last 30 mins will decline your offer in the hopes that a pally will come along to tank it in the next two hours. These days, there is such a shortage of 5 man groups of Frostmourne that any tank will (and has always) do.

i'm with perrins on this one. i just hit 70 with my warrior tank, and i don't have time for even half of the stuff i'm being asked to tank. i'm not even geared...

In the interest of giving a middle road, I agree with both parties to some extent. For 5-mans and Karazhan, I vastly prefer a competent, well-geared Paladin to a competent, well-geared Warrior. A Paladin just has more tools to kill more enemies faster. That said, When I am playing my non-tank characters, If I go for a PuG instead of a guild group, the hardest slot to find is generally the Tank, and at that point, I will gladly take a Warrior if one can come. Also, I generally have at least one Karazhan a week with a Warrior Tank. I guess what I am trying to say is that you go to an instance with the tank you have, not the tank you wish you had.
