i would never wear any mail or leather. as a fury warr for isntances you gotta off tank if the tank dies or situations when you need to off tank, i dont see you surviving for long if you got leather and mails on loland hit rating 95? that's all we need? that's so easy to cap. expertise is also important for fury as i found out once i switched to the new badge fists my expetise was 0/0 (human warr). and i found myself being dodged and parried alot), well parry can be ignored from behind the enemy but they still dodge and sometimes due to lag or other miracles bosses parry even i am behind

truth of the matter is, itemization for fury warriors isn't clear-cut. Sometimes mail and leather are the best available option when taking upgrades. Simple truth.and on no such raid has a Fury warrior done anything closely resembling "off-tanking" that is geared for dps. Sure, you can equip a shield and stance over to Defensive to help, but you're still gonna go down quick without quick healers. If MT goes down, it's pretty much a wipe on any occasion. Would love to see a Fury warrior specc'd for sustained DPS do anything but tank a mob for a few moments.

Generally, you don't have this luxury at the Karazhan level of raiding unless you're PvPing for your epics; in which case your stats aren't fully synced with what you're trying to accomplish.

can't off tank in instance or raids? what are you crazy? lol you can't off tank raid bosses that's for sure but instance bosses are easy to off tank when the main one dies. the best use of fury in an instance is if your healer dies then i can grab aggro, so my druid tank will Battle rez the healer then take aggro back. the worse case scenario is i will die but so what the party will live and rez me after or i pop shield wall which is more than long enough to get the healer and mt back to position
