The 10/25 man change is probably the biggest overall change announced so far. This changes the end game far more than that 40-->25 change did.
I'm really torn on it. Yeah, it means that I (as a serious, but not hardcore raider) will get to see a lot more. OTOH, there really is a big experiential difference between running with 9 other people and 24 other people. The 25 man will be more challenging (at least they better be!) and beating those encounters will be a heck of a bigger rush than the 10 man. So even seeing the same scenery the 10 man raiders will not experience the same thrill as the 25 mans. And, for me at least, there won't be as much feeling of accomplishment in the 10 man vs. the 25 man.
From what little we know, I think making all the raids 10/25 is not the best call. There really should be some "special" things in the game. Things that it takes real effort to see and attain. And the gear from 25 mans should be MUCH better (and cooler looking) than the 10 man equivalent. Also I hope that the fights are very different between the two, with the 25 man clearly a step up on complexity and difficulty.

New pictures revealed here http://boards.worldofraids.com/topic-13393-1.html along with a new map of Northrend. Not sure whether it's real or not, but either way it looks really great, better than any fake ones yet.

I would by no means say i am hardcore, but i am not casual. I have been in 10 and 25 mans, both hard. I really like the concept of having the raids be 10 or 25 but there is no way the gear should be the same. Look at it like heroic, you see the same thing but its harder and with better gear.
