What is it about
Darrowshire and stunning
machinima? This is the second video in about a month to come of the
Eastern Plaguelands quest line. Last month, we
featured the work of
Cranius and his musical talents. Now we're pleased to feature a star-studded film by
Firebolt Productions,
Acolyte 1.5. You may recognize them from their second place win in the
Warcraftmovies Christmas Spirit Contest,
Ugly Goblin's Christmas.
Acolyte 1.5 is not without faults, as it feels like half of the video has ads for websites. However, what we are finally presented with is an engaging storyline full of action and excitement. Don't miss the voice acting by
Clint Hackleman,
Drewbie, and
Olibith, as well as the musical composition by
Nathan Allen Pinard!

That was really a great machinima. The voices were just perfect, and the movie was filled with non-stop action.
One thing though was that when some of the characters faces were lipsynched, it looked really strange with the eyes.
But it was an excellent machinima.

One thing though, I didn't see any of those "ads" you say there were - but maybe that's just me. Please tell me where you see them.

There were ads for warcraftmovies, myndflame, madx machinima, etc.

I guess you complain when they show credits at the beginning of movies, Moo Money, because that's all it was.
Yet you don't complain when the title of videos is "bukkake". You have some strange tastes.

Does anyone have an explanation for why the heir to the throne of Stormwind was in a backwater village in Middle of Nowhere, Lordaeron? And why was there a Mo'arg? I mean, I know the Scourge was still with the Legion at this point... And the Vrykul are still busy trying to win Arthas over. And... the Argent Dawn was still the Scarlet Crusade at this point, weren't they? And... Honor Hold tabards? The Sons of Lothar were already through the portal, weren't they?

It was indeed riddled with inaccuracies, but less groan-worthy than, say, Tales of the Past.
While things like that did bother me, especially with the nice little 'And then he became king' note at the end, I have to say that the only thing that really freaked me out were the closeup animated faces, especially when he looks like he's about to devour the prince in his hands...

More like this please!

Dear Cranius,
I love you.

Screw Stratholm...
I'm off to the forums to petition Darrowshire at CoT!!!

Wow, that was really well done. I'm surprised at the level of action and the intensity in every scene. Its just brutal at points. Very impressed.

I like the Dirti cameo after the ending credits.
