Breakfast Topic: Biggest AH sale?

Once upon a time, before Burning Crusade was released, my Alliance druid was hanging out in Felwood and a Krol Blade dropped. I was able to sell it on the AH on the first try for 700 gold, which in those days was a lot of in-game cash.
More recently, my Horde druid picked up an Eye of the Sea from the Fishing Quest reward. I sold it for 379 gold which was 21 gold less than my first asking price. Not as big of a haul as my first big sale, but still a welcome addition to my Epic Flight fund.
What is the most you have sold anything for on the Auction House? Was it your first asking price?

My biggest sale was "Plans: Bracers of the Green Fortress" that dropped off a random mob in Netherstorm that I got a cool 1350g for a couple of days ago.

I found a 2 ring on the ah last month for 1000g, I promptly bought and resold for 3300g a few days later.

I found a Pristine Hide of the Beast on the AH two years ago for 175g. I promptly bought it, and then I resold it for 199g a few days ago.
Hmm, I guess that's not as impressive as yours, is it...

Tome of Polymorph Turtle, 3000 gold.
Trade peanut gallery pissed its pants when I was advertising. I got so much grief in tells and Trade. But THAT'S when you know you have something good, because people only complain (and wow, did they complain) when they're really envious; they want the item for themselves, or they want it to sell.
Anyways, it sold, as I said, for 3000 gold.
So, of course, I went and farmed another for a friend, and that one sold too.
Suckers.

It's surprising that more people don't farm that. You can do it with no more than 5 people in T4 level gear, and as few as two people with T6 level gear.
I haven't heard of anyone soloing it yet though.

Hmm, I didn't realize Polymorph: Turtle was non-BOP. Never seen it on auction. Would pay a pretty penny for it though if I did.

70 Resto Shaman and 70 Feral Druid and we can duo the tome when we remember to go down there and do it. Admitedly, it takes about 15 minutes without dedicated DPS, but that's just more people to share the money with. :)

I sold some jewelcrafting plans (random drop off a sunwell mob) in the AH for 525g a few weeks ago. Paid for my lock's blue flyer quite nicely :-)

Some unlucky bugger put Blinkstrike up on the AH for 700g, resold it the next day for 1700g.
Got my epic mount 2 days later.

Biggest one for me has been the Gyro-Balanced Khorium Destroyers I often make when my funds are gettin' low. I tend to sell them for 1000-1200g or so.

I play the auction house pretty regularly, buying things that are up for cheap and reselling them for regular price. I've had a couple of different items sell for 1300+ gold. One I sold just recently was Staff of Natural Fury for 1325.

I just sold a Design: Brilliant Dawnstone for 500g. I probably could have got more for it because it didn't take long for it to sell at all.

1100 gold for a leatherworking plan that dropped of a skettis elemental

I remember getting a lot of crap for trying to sell a Sentry Cloak for 100g or so. I eventually sold it in the AH for that much, and when I saw someone else getting slack for charging 50 I whispered them and told them to charge more! ^^
My best haul though was 700g roughly for a Netherdrake Helm recipe. Not an epic amount by any means, but still pretty hefty for me.

Well, I tend to stick to small ticket items. Recently, I can recall finding a Schematic: Mana Potion Injector for 99, I turned 600 on that.
I also had Lola's Eve, an Epic world drop necklace which is part of a set, that dropped and I sold it for 250.
I sold an Epic chopper for 1200 recently.
Windslayer wraps which someone gave me in thanks for running thier alt through Uldaman a half dozen times, sold those for 890.
Nothing giant, but each time, it's more.

Captured firefly 3x sold each time for about 700-1000g helped me a lot for my epic flying :)
Callandra May 15th 2008 8:32AM
2 Glowing brightwoods for 500+ g within days of each other right before I hit 60 back when ZG was released.
Epic plate chest for 800+g right before I hit 70.
Enchant Weapon recipe: Spellsurge - 1k, right before I hit 70.
FYI - I bought my flying mount 1-2 days played after dinging 70 :)
Zeplar May 15th 2008 8:36AM
I have sold a Badge of Tenacity seven times for 1400-1600g each time.

Most memorable sale was after I randomly won the Life-stealing enchant from Scholomance and ended up selling it for 750G during vanilla, couldn't believe my eyes when I opened the mail to receive the money.
