They intend to keep the roles that they've got set, but they've made it pretty clear in some of the WotLK interviews that they know that, much like it sucked for Resto/Holy specs that couldn't even do their dailies in their epics, that it also sucks to be in plate with a sword and shield and be unable to do any real damage.
