WoW Moviewatch: Narien Arrives

What's interesting about Narien Arrives is that he used Second Life to build and chromakey objects for certain scenes, as many machinimators do with WoW Model and Map Viewers. The virtual world is highly customizable, which allowed him to create a branded truck for his show.

Agreeing with the above, the truck moment was classic. Sadly while the camera angles were great, it suffers from the same old model-viewer syndrome of the objects in the world not looking like they belong there. The lack of shadows and mismatch of animation and movement speed hamstring what would otherwise be a selection of really well shot scenes. Shame really.
