I still love kara, my main has switched from a shadow priest (tailoring +S1 items = fully equipped), to a protection warrior (if its not for PVE its generally useless, so much harder to gear). Our guild is casual and generally works well, I have no problem with taking someone who is starting out on the raiding path for the first time. The problem I do have though are the ones that just grind some mobs somewhere to level 70 and turn up at a raid in a collection and crap and expect the rest of the group to just pull them through the whole lot.As a tank you can get 490+ defense with ~11k health and decent avoidance stats by just relying on quest rewards, if you go in to kara with that you can offtank everything and not slow the raid down. But I have seen people turning up with less than 490 defense and just expecting that the rest of the raid don't mind wiping, or healers with zero mp5 expecting the other healers to take up the slack - to me that's the worse problem when kara starts to become farmed.
