Thats what happened in our guild. A large gap formed due to the high end gear that is available from badges. The high geared people wanted to farm kara for badges and nothing else. Anything less than a total speed run was not fun while others had only just started to clear the place and wanted to have fun seeing more. The result? We lost most of the well geared people, so the guild is still held to kara.

We are casual, so its okay. But I'm sure we are not the only victims of this.
