The purpose of Kara has changed completely. It really is juts for badges, for us anyway. We don't bring anything less than full epic / T4 partial T5 when we go. We do full clears in about 4 hours.
honestly it's great training for ZA. We have started giving serious attempts at bear mounts, and Kara has been a perfect training ground. We go in and chain pull without break until after opera. We will then do the same thing again all the way up to prince, then take our time on Netherspite / Nitebane.
No stops between for mana ... the second a mob dies the tank is already marking the next set getting ready for pull. You drink the little in between, it makes for great mana management. We have full cleared this way several times, and it also makes, or at least made things a little more of a challange.
If we do bring someone undergeared, well undergeared compared to us, it's generally only 1 or two people, (we have 8 manned Kara anyway), and they are generally just along for the ride.
