Big problem I'm having is that no one wants to slow down and gear everyone up. We're trying to go into 25-mans with only Kara group 1 geared. They figure that because they're geared, that no one else matters. And they refuse to take lesser-geared people into their runs to make gearing them easier w/o basically shafting them into an all green/blue group that'll take 6 hours to run it.
Then, because they can't understand that, people from group 1, including the raid leader, gquit and join a 'hardcore' raiding group because we're not progressing fast enough. Basically they can't slow down. Weekend after they got geared they wanted to go to The Eye. 25-man =/= Kara group 1.
Funny thing is, they wanted to leave their alts in the original guild so that they could be geared up in Kara! When a week before, they were basically saying, 'no more kara, it's obsolete. if you want a kara run, do it yourself.'
Anyway...
I think too many geared people are phasing out Kara for the ungeared. Yeah, your run might be super fast and yaddayadda...but think of your guildys. You can't do a 25-man with 10 people in Kara gear and 15 people in quest greens/blues and expect to seriously progress.
