We have several guild Kara runs each week, but they are all for the purpose of farming badges. We've eliminated all of the unnecessary time to explain fights and mastered what cc to use and where. On Saturday’s run, we had one (super leet) healer, one paladin tank, and 8 dps (4 of which were mages).
I’ve never seen Curator drop faster since he was dead before he even finished the first evocate. Of course, it has its drawbacks, since we wiped on Ilhoof when he selected our one and only healer as the first sacrifice and had to try again.
It wasn’t the fastest run ever, but probably one of the most fun I remember. I wish I would had screen-shotted the 4 mages synchronized iceblocking after the tank was silenced and the boss went down the aggro list. We do bring in guildie’s alts to help gear them up (or get some “training” pieces for off-sets.)-but not too many at a time so we can keep it pretty speedy :)
