WoW Moviewatch: Under Contract
Under Contract is about two dwarves and their friends that are contracted by the Explorer's League to carry out missions. Unfortunately, I'm not sure that Gnomechewer properly conveyed the story that he had in mind this time. He mentioned that he rushed through a lot of it, and he seems to have mixed a jumble of things together so that it makes no sense. Well, at least it looks good visually.

Did this even tell a story? Seemed pretty random to me. Don't get me wrong, it's entertaining, but it's not a "story."

Great Quotes
Aliens (1986) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0090605/quotes
Ripley: Just tell me one thing, Burke. You're going out there to destroy them, right? Not to study. Not to bring back. But to wipe them out.
Burke: That's the plan.
Grandmas Boy(2006) http://www.moviewavs.com/Movies/Grandmas_Boy.html
Dante: "No one's ever been brave enough to try that."
Alex: "One man is. Roll it."
Alex: "You're gettin a lion?"
Dante: "Yeah."
Alex: "Why?"
Dante: "To protect my bleep."
Alex: "Never heard of a dog?"
Dante: "Dude, you can get past a dog. Nobody bleeps with a lion."
Alex: "Yeah, that's true."
Shiloh: "You guys think you're so bleeping cool. Makes me sick!.."
Alex: "Why are you naked?"
Dante: "Oh, my God. I am naked! Come on in!"
Scarface (1993) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0086250
Norman: (low voice) Bring me everyone.
???????:What do you mean with everyone?
Norman: (Screaming) EVERYONE!!!

"Bring me Everyone" is not from Scarface. It's from "Leon", or "The Professional" if you saw it in America, by Luc Besson. The speaker is Normal Stansfield, played by Gary Oldman, possibly one of the coolest movie villains of all time.

Eh... It's set up like a movie trailer, and, unless I miss my guess, telling a complete, coherant story in a commercial for said movie would be rather counter-productive to seeing the movie.
Granted, I seriously doubt that Mr. Chewer has any intention, whatsoever, of actually undertaking a full-fledged version of this... But that is what I was able to take away from watching it.

1. ThorinII is correct. There is no story here. My original idea came from re-watching the trailer to Sin City (because i actually love the "art" of trailers more than the movies) and I remember the first time I saw it thinking "I have no idea what this is about, but OBVIOUSLY its cool." And I thought, thats the greatest/worst part about trailers... its all the goodies. You actually pay money to see the fluff around those goodies because of your desire to understand. SO i wanted to make goodies. Which inevitable led me to create a "trailer". Which forced me to throw some random "plot" together. But, yes, there is no story. Just goodies.
2. I spent the most time on the opening. And its SO COOL. Its just like photoshop that i made blink and put some OLD computer sounds to. But i slowly realized im better at making sad stuffs than action stuffs. So that ruined my goodies. So I tried to save it by putting some random sounds from "Grandmas Boy" and "The Professional". Because if you can't do action, random probably works :P
