Funny, I thought that the Silithid were the early incarnations of the Zerg. Their boss C'thun looks more than a little like the Overmind. Until the lore got stomped in about the old gods creating the Silithid, I was expecting them to just be part of the Zerg's sweep across all the worlds they could find. Now that we know the old gods created them, it looks more like Azeroth's Silithid are the origin of the Zerg. The Harbinger in the Arcatraz shouts some very Zerglike things too.To me, this also suggests that if Azeroth were to appear in Starcraft it would be as the Zerg homeworld with little patches of ruins where the old cities stood before the Silithid overran them.Thunder Bluff, of course, would still be standing with the remnants of Tauren civilisation fighting off (and probably eating - a bull's gotta eat some time!) any Zerg/Silithid that approach. Eventually the Terrans will show up, rescue/recruit them (interestingly similar to Thrall rescuing them from the Centaur and recruiting them to the Horde, really) and give them powered armour and heavy weapons. Tada! Tauren Marines!
