Around Azeroth: Double take

You know what I really hate? A guy who looks just like me. Long black hair, bushy eyebrows, unkempt beard, veiny neck, red shoulders. Y'know, some dude just sitting there with a slack jaw and vacant stare like he grew up drinking Bloodmyst Isle water instead of Stormwind municipal. Wait ... what are you looking at? Oh, crap. There's one right behind me, isn't there?
Saberix of <Defenders of the Pass> on Eldre'Thalas had a bit of double vision in Karazhan the other day -- he looked into the abyss and found the abyss gazing back at him, with a familiar face. He figures that he must have had a long-lost relative who was pals with Medivh.
Do you have any unusual World of Warcraft images that are just collecting dust in your screenshots folder? We'd love to see it on Around Azeroth! Sharing your screenshot is as simple as e-mailing aroundazeroth@wow.com with a copy of your shot and a brief explanation of the scene. You could be featured here next!
Remember to include your player name, server and/or guild if you want it mentioned. We prefer full screen shots without the UI showing -- use alt-Z to remove it. And as God as my witness, I will get this gallery working again!

Here's my completely pointless comment of the day:
Woo! Nice to see some Eldre'Thalas love.

That quote about "staring into the abyss" was actually written a long, long time before WoW was even conceived, though I don't remember the author's name. (It's been quoted all over the place, from the opening sequence of the original "Baldur's Gate" to - no surprise here - the awesome sci-fi flick, "The Abyss.")

I'm actually fairly certain that the painting is of Medivh himself. It looks a lot like him in his younger years. But I don't really think that he is the kind of person that would have a painting of himself in his tower. *shrug*
