Well Fed Buff: Conjured Croissants

Well Fed Buff serves up tasty dishes to boost your HP, stats and appetite – with that special WoW twist, of course.
Your friends will stand in awe of your mage-ly prowess when you conjure up these delectable Conjured Croissants. Not only do these morsels add a hefty 7500
One caveat: Conjured items disappear if logged out for more than 15 minutes. Don't AFK, or you may find yourself the only one in the group stuck using bandages (you did level your First Aid skill, didn't you?).
To create Conjured Croissants in game, you'll need to know Conjure Food Rank 8, which requires level 70 and a lucky drop in level 70 instances (or good luck at the Auction House) for the Tome of Conjured Food VIII. Mages must know this level of food conjuration, as well as the highest level of water conjuration, in order to train the Ritual of Refreshment (the famous food table that serves up Conjured Manna Biscuits).
Read on to create a sweeter version of Conjured Croissants IRL.
Gather your mats
1 8-count tube crescent rolls (refrigerated section)
1 bag semi-sweet (dark) chocolate chips
Make the combine
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
Unroll the dough and separate it along the "dotted" lines. Put a small pile (a dozen or so) of the chocolate chips at the large end of the triangle, and roll the dough up around it. Aim to have the "tall, skinny" point of the triangle end up in the outside center of the roll.
You'll have lots of leftover chocolate chips. Save them for a quick snack!
Plop the rolled croissants on an ungreased baking sheet. For a shiny, pro-style glaze as shown in the picture, brush the tops with a little butter that you've melted in the microwave first. Bake 12-14 minutes, until golden brown. Serve at any temperature you prefer – warm, room temperature or even refrigerated.
Off-spec variations
Like the mages who conjure them, Conjured Croissants are nice when squishy. Experiment with different fillings: flavored chips, jelly, peanut butter and flavored peanut butter ...

Don't be cheap - make them from scratch! Frozen food is the first step to inflatable ladies!

So very true.

This basically says "microwave and add chocolate"
WTB a made-from-scratch article as Aigarius said.

From scratch...www.google.com search croissants, make croissants, add your chocolate chips and bake according to directions...

You spent more time explaining to people in moron terms what Mage conjured food is, than spent on the cooking. A good article isn't just made of nerdy WoW terms.
Also, the image isn't even yours. That's, quite frankly, horrible.

some of you guys really need to lighten up...

no lightening up required.
All of the comments are quite valid, and it is the hopes of all the commenters that this series on wowinsider will make an effort to maintain a higher level of integrity.
Many of the "Well Fed Buff" articles are pretty interesting, and have decent recipes. Its interesting to see the author's spin on the theme...
But, this isn't a recipe.
1) buy instant croissants
2) put chocolate in them
3) follow instructions on package
Sure, they might be pretty good, and croissants from scratch can be difficult (when made right... i've never managed to fold the butter in as well as I wanted) but, its not.
I thought this series was awesome, because it encouraged people who may not have EVER eaten non-instant food to give it a try and trick them into thinking they're grinding their skill up at the same time.
You know what they say about the best laid plans of mice and men?

Hey Lisa? How do I make cheese and crackers? I've been looking for a recipe that requires spray cheese.

The recipie sucks but your wow style narration was great, as was the comments by the trolls. xD
