I have been wondering something for a long time now. I know this isn't exactly asking for lore, but I see the horde and alliance up to killing off major roles such as Illidan and Arthas. My first thought was, why are we killing Illidan. He doesn't much care for Sargeras or Arthas, he could have been a powerful ally and from what I can guess, all he really wants to do is beat the crap out of demons, not us so why are we killing him and not recruiting him? Arthas, being controlled by Ner'zhul also hates the legion, so aside from all the terrible destruction he has caused, could he not, also, help us to destroy the legion? My second question is, aside from Sargeras and Kil'jaeden, what other bosses will we have to look forward to in other expansions that may be released?

As for "expansion end-boss" level of enemies, here's a quick list:- Queen Azshara. Maelstrom expansion. Might also include other ancients like Lord Xavius.- Old Gods. "Behind the scenes" evildoers. So far, C'thun in AQ and a rumored Old God in Azjol-Nerub. There are also rumours Azshara herself is a minion of an Old God.- Elemental Lieutenants. We only defeated Ragnaros as he was trying to be summoned into Azeroth, not sure we actually defeated the Ragnaros as he exists in his elemental plane. They are (were?) minions of the Old Gods, but seem to have agendas of their own.- The Nightmare (Emerald Dream expansion?). Nothing really known about this, could be anything from Deathwing to an Old God to a grumpy gnome.
