Poll: How many dailies do you complete?
Let's take a poll for a future article I'm working on about daily quests. I want to know (and I'm sure some of you will be interested too): on average, how many daily quests do you complete each day?For me the number is nine. I do six out in the Isle of Quel Danas, and then three in Outland (the mining, fishing, and cooking daily). I have a couple of friends who do 25 every day, and I have other friends who only do one or two. I was surprised yeterday in my article about making money through the AH that there were several of you who mentioned that doing all 25 was the norm.
So vote away and lets us know how many daily quests you do every day.

I don't think 25 is the norm for the majority. I suspect that many people probably do 10 or so every few days. Binge dailies, if you will. I know as a weekday raider and sometimes weekend pvper I can't do dailies every single day.

uhm on the dayss where i do dailies i do between 45-50 (got 2 chars whis i doo them on on those days) but i don't do them all days, only when i'm really bored or really low on cash

Currently with my work sched so fudged up I do the daily heroic for badges (need so many still), and the battleground. Gold + honor + badges = hellz yah. Days I'm off/have extra freetime I generally atleast do the Isle, sometimes all if I've just got nothing to do.

I've kinda forsaken my first 70, so I don't do any at the moment. Haven't really played my 70 since the SSO dailies came, so I don't know how much I would do if my new main were 70. Didn't vote.

I don't do any of them. I've found it alot easier being an enchanter, just farming up the pre-BC endgame mats and selling them. Greater Eternal Essence sells anywhere from 13-25g on my server (depending on the weekly inflation) and I can usually nab 10 in under an hour just goofing around in Stratholme. Then there's the Large Brilliant Shards, the dust, and when I feel like destroying the church up there...3-4 Righteous Orbs which go for about 30g a piece.
And someday I will have that damn Deathcharger!

Server progress turned out to be a motivator for me. When we were incomplete, I prioritized the newest daily and ended up doing the rest of Quel'Danas because I was there. But now that my server is finished, I don't bother to go. On the average day, I only do the cooking, fishing, and battleground dailies.

I have the attention span of a three year old. Some days, I'll do as many as I can. Others, I'll farm for motes, help friends level, work on alts, or whatever comes to mind. I find that doing different things keeps me from getting too bored. Sure, I'm anxious to get my epic flyer but I'll get there eventually.

At the absolute minimum, I do the cooking daily. I've been doing it every day since 2.3 hit and I STILL don't have the cake recipe. 3% drop rate my ass. Sometimes it's neat being a statistical outlier; other times, not so much.
Usually I do the fishing one too since it doesn't take long and it's an honest-to-god excuse to level my fishing skill, which I feel like I ought to but which I previously hadn't done since pre-BC because it was so incredibly boring.
Maybe every other day I'll do the bevy of island dailies, but that's about the extent of it. That covers my raiding consumable expenses. I've hit the 25-daily limit exactly once, and that only happened because one day I happened to say to myself "I think I'll try and hit the daily limit today." It took way more time than I'm willing to invest and I don't intend to do it again.

I really only do the fishing one with any consistancy, and then usually the skettis bombing because it's close.
I don't really need money right now, and besides, my JCing alt makes enough money for me to skip borind dailies.

If I commit to doing dailiies I try to do at least 10. I'm

I do 23 each day, and then if I feel like doing heroic and pvp that makes 25. Im leveling up a character so that he too can do 25.
It's easy for a hunter. Takes no longer than 2 hours.

It depends mostly on my mood, and what else I'm doing that day, but if I do dailies, I tend to get the 10 on the Isle done, and then depending again on time, I'll pick up 3-4 of the Outlands ones and get them done, too.
Ancalimon Jun 2nd 2008 12:38AM
I usually try to complete 10 from the Isle, but depends on how much I get ganked, the more i get ganked, the less i do lol. DAMN YOU HORDE!!

when i'm not getting my mage alt to 70 i try to do at least a couple shattered sun dailies, the first two that were available like like 10 minutes and net 20-25g, which isn't bad for a quick boost to my coffers

33, Haven't found yet people to do the ogri'la prequests with my druid, 4 dailies less :(

If you are level 70 for quite some time, I think WoW can be quite boring, even with these daily quests which get boring after a while too.
Unless you are a raider or want some epic mount, like the Cenarion Hyppo.. then I don't see the point in doing 25 (omg) boring repetive dailies.
I'm glad that wow got repetitive and boring at lvl 70, because I got the chance of leveling an alt in a casual play rate and got focused more in RL issues.
If you are doing 25 dailies because you are bored, you have a problem. At the moment I'm doing old content instance quests with a friend, chains that I missed, and tbh, some are very well made and the lore is great, as usual. I'm pretty tired of raids, heroics and all that crap that I've done a thousand times.

As a raiding restro shaman I don't do the dailys unless I respec because doing them in restro is the most boring thing ever. Because of this I rarely get over 200g and the cost to respec is always 50g x2 so it pretty much respecing to do then pointless.

When I was doing the SSO rep, i was doing 20 a day. Also Ogrila & Skyguard increased my numbers after SSO. But not rep grinding anything atm, so my numbers are;
- 5 of IOQD (2 bombs, picking the herb, robot one, and undead one)
- Fishing (except if its the SMV one)
- Mining
- Cooking if its in Nagrand + combined with SSO Nagrand quest with goggles.
- BG if its AV.
So usually between 5 and 10.
Recently started doing the mining quest for Netherwing also.

I find the SMV/HFP fishing quest ("Felblood Filet") to be far less maddening than the Nagrand one ("The One that Got Away"). With 410 effective fishing on one character, I get the filet from SMV in under 10 casts; with 385 effective fishing on another (still capping his skill) it takes about 10 casts in HFP. But I have spent literally 45 minutes getting that sneaky mudfish in Nagrand.
And yeah, fishing/cooking dailies are win. 40g a day, mats for buff food for raiding, and they got me busy levelling fishing and cooking on a second toon. If cooking is Nagrand, I'll grab the SSO quest there as well. This is a great way to drink my morning coffee while listening to the news and letting my girlfriend put on her makeup.
