WoW Moviewatch: Doodad, The Machinima
This machinima was entertaining, but it would be nice to know what the undead lost and why he wanted to live. For a first effort, it's not a bad movie, but the editing could be better. For example, Doodad (the machinimator, not the movie) zooms in way too far on too small of a resolution in the first place. This result is noticeable pixelation. However, with some tweaks to his work, it could be great!

Does anyone else seem to notice that the "WoW Moviewatch" posts seem to get very little comments?

Looks like I'm tied for 7th most commented in the last 30 days. Sorry I'm not running any epic contests or serious WoW discussions for you. This is a daily movie post. If you expect anything more, you will be disappointed.

The opening sequence really struck me as existing for no other reason than to let us hear the Saw theme (again) in full.
The zoom-in pixelation wasn't that jarring, as WoW machinima's are rarely that high quality anyway without Baron Soosdon-type filters.
However, the movie seemed to expect me to care about the protagonist, but I was given no reason to. I personally think that if the protagonist's death sequence had started the movie, the whole thing would have been given that much more weight - especially when the viewer recognizes the killer on the road to Tarren Mill.
As for the lack of comments, I expect it's because it's hard to motivate ourselves to watch 10-minute movies that even the columnist voices doubts about.

Lots of things that could be done better technically, graphically, etc. Not going to touch on that as I'm sure others will cover it.
What I can say (with embarrassment) is that this piqued my inner lore nerd. I didn't think I even had one is the funny part. Great concept.
