Ten Druids go on nom spree in Kara

First the bears danced. Then the cats tapped their paws. Then all heck broke loose with the moonkin and the trees and the ahhhhhhh! Then the ten Druid team from Immortal Trust on Anvilmar decided they'd better go inside the actual Karazhan instance and make with the serious killin'.
Attumen the Huntsman and Midnight went down in cloud of feathers, fur, and branches. Then the druids took a dinner break, feasting on skeleton bones and the occasional orange. Their bellies (or whatever trees have) full, they invited an unsuspecting Moroes to join them, the druids telling him, "We're only here to serve Moroes." Mu-hahahaha! They dumped his bones in a vat of soup, declaring it a chunky brand. The Maiden of Virtue could not resist the Druids' musky allure and she also succumbed. Much posing and dancing ensued. Even little Peanut could not contain his joy at the victory. Alas, their tryst with Julianne was not to be. What sweet sorrow having no spell interrupts in any of the Druid talent trees. But next time, some way, somehow, she and Romulo will be theirs!
And the most astonishing thing about this run? The screen-capturing druid using the default UI! Huzzah!
[Thanks, Shethornclaw!]

Looks like it was good fun. =) Druids are like the Mini Coopers of WoW, fun, versatile, and have been found to run in packs.
-lol-

What about Maim wouldnt that interupt or feral charge. I think that many druids should be able to clear kara.
Ikarus Jun 4th 2008 6:40PM
and the bears have bash, albeit on a 1 min cd
harrydelano Jun 4th 2008 8:57PM
best interrupt is feral charge, it can be done if you time it with two druids.
Ryan Jun 5th 2008 9:54AM
With the season3 glove bonus, maim also becomes a silence, which makes it a functional interrupt on incapacitate-immune mobs.
Twothing Jun 5th 2008 8:11PM
Yes, "Vengeful Gladiator's Dragonhide Gloves" Ability (Equip: Causes your Maim ability to interrupt spellcasting and prevent any spell in that school from being cast for 3 sec.) Will work on Julianne's heals. I have been in charge of that myself in the past. It Will also help with Shade.
brittwilson Jun 4th 2008 6:09PM
Yeah, without any interrupts, they are probably just going to have to hope for a better reset, and get Wolf or something. Might still have a bit of trouble on Shade though.....
Tiforix Jun 4th 2008 6:34PM
Depends on their gear level. In my guild we don't bother to interrupt Shade or Aran anymore... we just burst him down.
Demosthenes Jun 4th 2008 6:10PM
Nothing wrong with the normal UI
Melenor Jun 4th 2008 8:16PM
I personally disagree. I'm an addon-aholic, and anything to change the default UI, I'll do. Just seeing it makes me cringe.
Naix Jun 5th 2008 9:43AM
Serious gamers rock the default UI and maybe Omen.
Blake Jun 4th 2008 6:13PM
Default UI + Bigwigs + Omen + whatever else we can't see there...so yeah...Almost default UI.
Milktub Jun 4th 2008 6:20PM
Default UI + addons is still a default UI. OP refers to a lack of things like xPerl that change your unit frames or icon racks.
Blake Jun 4th 2008 6:24PM
Well then that would be default unit frames. Not default UI. I understand where the poster was coming from, but it's not the completely default UI.
adam3039 Jun 4th 2008 6:19PM
Feral Charge interrupts the heal. Silly kitties.
wingdvampire Jun 4th 2008 8:40PM
sadly it didnot we had all teddys back of and try it
Milkgas Jun 4th 2008 6:35PM
Ya! Great job Sheth!
Cetha Jun 4th 2008 6:26PM
awesome..I love this kind of stuff. It's always nice to see when people remember that this is a game and should be fun.
Now I need to just find 9 druid friends and give it a try...
Josh Jun 4th 2008 6:35PM
s3 gloves give maim an interupt, without it, it wouldn't affect julianne's heal
maybesew Jun 4th 2008 6:45PM
Coolest thing druids did was 40 druids killed ony before TBC. In fact, it was even before 2.0 talents and when people took bear tanks seriously.
