First of all, you over-generalize party politics. There are middle of the road or even conservatives who do not necessarily follow the Republican party line but do not agree with most of the Democrats. Number two, I can only assume your generalization comes under the argument before for or against abortion. That comes under personal belief of when a life starts. If a person personally believes a life starts earlier or a differing opinion on defines life, then I fail to see how defending that belief not to let people commit murder (this would be the belief) is going against women's rights. Quite alot of Republicans do support better birth control, the morning after pill, and other means to prevent it ever reaching that point. To brashly claim that being Pro-life versus Pro-Choice is taking rights away from women is, in fact, advocating that people cannot have a personal belief system. You can vote for who you want or not, and I have no idea what this woman supports, but not all democrats are pro-choice and not all republicans are pro-life. The beauty of the system is that we vote and support who shares our beliefs about the issues. It's not a faultless system, but it's ours.

If I am wrong and this is not what you were referring to, I apologize. But I, personally, have zero respect for people who will not consider the other side of an issue.

More on topic, I think it's awesome to see a woman politician who's also defying the 'stereotype' and being a woman gamer too. Would this make me vote for her? Nah, I base my votes on whether I agree with her on issues or not and I'm not even in that state so my vote is moot. ;) I still think it's cool that she plays.
