Should be fun, who cares if it's ripped off from WAR or whatever. It's a great idea, and it's not like the WAR developers didn't nick what they liked from WoW.
My only concern is how many of these stats they're already tracking. I'm exalted with AB and bored to tears with it, it'd suck if I had to start all over again to get the achievements. (Suck in that: I wouldn't bother).
If they have been keeping these records it'll also be nice for current players as they'll get a sort of loyalty bonus akin to some other MMOs for the time they've put in.
