They should be, and S1 gear will disappear from the game altogether.

S3 gear will also drop in cost for Arena Points, so the vast majority of us who cannot attain 2000 Ratings vs 4/5 Brutal Gear players will be able to get our S3 scraps at a discount.

T-Minus 3 months until S4 Arena Gear Ratings are rolled back / Arena ceases to exist.
