I actually feel disappointed with what Blizzard is giving us. EQ2 and now LORTO allow complete make-overs, lets face it after a couple years looking at the same toon gets old. (Changing race or sex is prohibited.)
Additionally both EQ2 and LOTRO provide an 'Appearance' tab or tabs. These allow the player to choose gear to wear for looks. They don't add stats, just for appearances. No more looking like a clown. Admittedly these games have a lot more gear and types of gear to choose from so uniqueness is easier to obtain. This is a great RP feature and its a shame Blizzard has always skimped on RP features in the game.
