Warriors are accepted as viable DPS now. It's just that, like all other classes that can tank (Paladins and Druids) there's more demand for them in the tanking role.
Frankly, a fourth tanking class won't change much one way or another.

Meh, warriors are accepted as DPS in 25 man raids and up. Part of that is the need for CC and aggro control in 5 mans (until you utterly outgear it). In Kara, there's a bit of that left over. It's hard to carry a DPS whose output is less than others that take less damage and offer more utility.
Warriors are so gear dependent as DPS that the best way to progress is as a tank until 25 mans (doesn't really start to take off until T5) and save up badges for the new gear.

I have never been in a 5 man with a warrior that is not a tank.
A fourth tanking class would ease the pressure of warrior to tank by expanding the tanking pool. Thus allowing the warrior to focus more on DPS and less on tanking.

I don't see any reason to believe that. Warriors used to be the only tanks, now there are three tanking classes and yet you only see warriors as tanks in your five mans.
Why should the addition of a fourth change that?

A bigger tank pool would allow for this. The same was true with Priests for the healing role. Priests used to be the sot after healer of choice for instances and raids. After level 60 if you were a Priest and not holy spec you could expect not to go on an instance run. After BC came out the hybrid classes healing got bumped up to be an option as main healer for a group. Now Priests can choose another spec besides holy and still be considered for a instance/raid.
I guess we will have to wait and see.

The reason you saw shadow priests become viable is that blizz made them so desirable in terms of synergy. Even in 5mans they add value and utility in caster heavy groups and free heals. It really has less to do with other hybrids filling the gap.

I agree with Mr. Rossi. The addition of DK's has little to do with the current acceptance of Warriors as DPS. Demand for Warriors, Paladins and Druids lies in their tanking specs, and it's unlikely you'll ever find "LF1M Kitty/Ret/Arms/Fury dps" in chat; and expecting the addition of another outlet of our tanking desires to suddenly reverse that trend is madness.
The more likely scenario is persons such as myself (Warrior/Pally/Druid tank toons) or Mr. Rossi will add yet ANOTHER tank to our repertoire, and those who roll DPS will STILL wonder "Why in the name of God is there still a tank shortage?"
