Around Azeroth: The limits of solo content
With all the recent additions to solo content by Blizzard, Illusionist Brian Rimeshade of The Sha'tar-EU can be forgiven for thinking that just about everything can be soloed. After stealthing up the Dead Scar and Shadowstepping between mobs across the flame barrier (which I didn't even know was possible -- is Shadowstep the new Blink?), Brian launched a futile suicide attack on Brutallus. Amazingly, Brian said that he dodged Brut's first attack, after which he decided he couldn't beat the enrage timer and a tactical retreat/Vanish was in order. We salute you, Brian, for spending a lot of time doing something dangerous with no possible benefit to yourself in order to get a screenshot.
Do you have any unusual World of Warcraft images that are just collecting dust in your screenshots folder? We'd love to see it on Around Azeroth! Sharing your screenshot is as simple as e-mailing aroundazeroth@wow.com with a copy of your shot and a brief explanation of the scene. You could be featured here next!
Remember to include your player name, server and/or guild if you want it mentioned. We prefer full screen shots without the UI showing -- use alt-Z to remove it. And RIP, Tim Russert -- the election won't be quite as fun without you.

Hmmm 40 man rogue raid. Interesting.

Hmm this makes me wonder something.
Is Brutallus a killable mob on QD, and does he drop loot when killed?
Has anyone ever killed him outside of the Sunwell instance?

That'd actually be a fun idea to see.
And while the 25-man raid moves forward, a bunch of other players start going over in the bombing run to take care of the mobs below. It'd be a neat thing to see.

"On the PTR, Brutallus was capable of being enslaved by a Warlock. This required the player to wall jump, and was considered an exploit. He spreads a debuff similar to Corrupted Blood, and can't be killed outside of the Sunwell Plateau instance. In a later build, he was affected by a scaling bug, which resulted in him being only slightly taller than players." -Directly quoted from http://www.wowwiki.com/Brutallus.

Well, when you bomb him during the bombing run, he does say..."is that all youve got, why dont you come back with 25 of your friends and try again" or something to that affect.

Long as you don't actually run right into the bombing run's mobs, you can get all the way up to Brutallus without much hassle. They scourge and the demons keep each other busy.

That is just a SWEET screenshot. I made it part way up the dead scar with my shaman by killing some things and then siccing my elemental on a few, but Tauren Shaman's aren't really "adept at blending in with their surroundings" if you know what I mean... :D
