Around Azeroth: Panic! at the Cathedral

I guess it really is different on RP servers. On my PvP home, this tauren would have been sliced, diced, made into burgers and served up in the Gilded Rose by now. But apparently Jurgi of <Cadia> on Lightninghoof can get away with walking into the Stormwind Cathedral and pledging his services to the Light. Of course, Jurgi isn't a taurenadin -- just a human engineer who got a little too close to a transporter. I guess the inhabitants of Stormwind have gotten better at detecting other races in disguise.

Actually it flags PvP going into another's capital on PvE realms, too.

The lighting is off, there is no shadow and the scale is waaaaay out. I think this is photoshoped

Hey homie if you click the lil link in Jurgi's name you will see he is a human pally. Therefore not a photshopped image just a bit of engineering gone wrong.
And props to Jurgi for getting a lil bit a fame for himself and of Lightninghoof. Now hurry and get KJ down. :P

Me and my friends have always thought that on RP servers there should be no PvP whatsoever; that includes guards attacking the other factions. Precisely so that situations similar to the picture could actually take place for character development.

Cool pic, but I guess it's worth pointing out that Lightninghoof *is* a pvp server (albeit of the rppvp variety).

This can't be right. Cadia is a top ALLIANCE guild on Lightninghoof. I know as thats where all of my characters are. Oh. Click his armory link, he's clearly a human.. O_O

Just to correct you a bit, Cadia is the second alliance/overall ranked guild on lightninghoof. Reckoning is the first having recently downed the twins. All my toons are on this server as well and a good friend of mine is in Reckoning.

This happened to my female shaman engineer once - its very amuzing :). Sometimes you'll get super big, or super small. Also sometimes you're evil spirit will have been extracted - so you'll look all dark.
Its also kind of a buggy feature - the transporter will screw you up, but if you log off, log on - you'll be normal. Then if you zone into an instance you'll change, then if you die - you'll look normal (but still have the debuff) etc.
