I had a dude show up to Heroic Ramps with no pants. We didn't wait for him to screw up the run, just "Hey, where are your pants?" "I don't need 'em." "Bye."

Haha, I don't suppose you're on Silver Hand? I have a good friend that plays a paladin tank and she won't wear pants anymore to tank most heroics because she seriously won't take enough damage if she's wearing all her gear. It's kind of hilarious, but also sort of shows some flaws in Blizzard's tanking designs. And "I don't need 'em" is something that sounds exactly like what she would say... hmmm..

Pants? Who needs pants?
I kicked a rogue who had no trinkets. None. Not even the ubiquitous Carrot on a Stick, Bladefists Breath, or PvP trinkets. Nothing. I asked him about it ... "trinkets don't do anything for my dps". Bye bye!

Hahahaha, that would probably prompt a ginvite from me. I wish I came across more people like that on my server. "Pants?" "Don't need em." Granted, he or she would have to prove themselves during the run, but that's awesome.

Yeah, if it was a paladin tank, they can out-gear the content which causes issues on how well they can perform and usually take their pants off (or similar item to lower stats and bring it back into the same realm as the content). I have two friends who are tankadins (well, one is a healadin with a really nice tanking set for when she decides to run 5-mans respecced as prot) and regularly run into this issue when dealing with lower end instances.
Just about any other class with no pants? uhm... err... no.

Paladins who out-gear an instance should have spell damage alternatives to their tanking gear, instead of just stripping down.
Just sayin'.

I've actually had to tank Ramps in full PvP gear to get enough rage to hold aggro. My normal tank set, I can't get any rage. We have another tank who just takes off his pants, it's fairly common.

I would have done that run and, had we succeeded, I would have given Captain Pantless 5 gold.

Nah, it was a mage (or a lock. I can't honestly remember. Cloth wearing DPS). I don't know if he wanted to go commando under the robes or was just thinking "I'm a wild and crazy guy!" but the DPS slot did not stay open for very long.
