You're missing something major here. The kits themselves are not BoP. They can be sold on the AH. You just can't put a 72 stam patch on some armor and then sell THAT. This puts the armor patches squarely in the realm of high level characters, and only high level characrers.

Something else you missed that I just noticed was the MAJOR change to all drums that is currently in the alpha: Tinnitus. You can only be affected by a set of drums once every two minutes. No more rolling haste drums. Raiders can pick up their old professions again.

Please let this make it to the release version. I hate that so many guilds started to require people to do LW just for that. What a waste of a profession for a lot of us.
