Once again, the WoW Insider Show is returning to
the virtual airwaves, and this show is taking place in a very different world than last week:
Turpster's Shadow Priest is 70, dogs and cats are living together, and I am out for the week. But worry not -- the very capable John "
BigBearButt" Patricelli is stepping in to take on the hosting duties, and joining him will be the raid-ready Shadow Priest himself, Turpster (John, could you do me a favor and ask Turpster when he's going to start leveling his Paladin now?), along with another man with his own popular
WoW blog, Matt "
Matticus" Low. I'm sure they'll chat, as we always do, about all the big news from the
World of Warcraft in the last week, including
level 30 mounts, the various
talent changes that have come down, and what's on deck for the
Midsummer Fire Festival next week. Since I'm not around, they probably won't talk about Shamans at all, so you can look forward to that.
And if there's anything else you want to ask them, it's easy and free -- just drop them a note at
theshow@wow.com, and they may even answer your question live on the air. During the show, you can even join them in IRC for a live chat -- point your IRC client to irc.mmoirc.com in the #wowradio channel and make sure to say hi for me.
Should be a "hum-dinger," as they say in the business. Well maybe they don't say it in the business, but I'm sure they say it somewhere.
Tune in to WoW Radio tomorrow afternoon at 3:30 Eastern to hear BBB, Matticus, and Turpster take on the past week in
Warcraft.

I tried to listen to wowradio per wowinsider's recommendation but promptly got very annoyed with the continual references (read, memes) to their commercials (the same 3 play repeatedly) in their talk shows. The whole thing is an ad, with a few excellent commentaries from wowinsider strewn very sparsely inside. There is only so much of "FULL THROTTLE HATERADE!!!#@$!$" you can take- it feels like a channel full of 12 year old newbs.
My point of this little rant is that I really hope you can post your wonderful show somewhere else; say, over a podcast. Until that point, I know -i- won't be able to listen to it, unfortunately.

Hey Cente_ddr,
I'll field this one on behalf of the guys at WoW Radio. Firstly, sorry for having seemingly lost a listener from the show, it's something we never like to hear. We do ask that our listeners understand that WoW Radio is a non-profit organization (extremely non-profit, no one gets paid and we stay online each month thanks to the support of our sponsors). We certainly will be looking to get some more varied adverts in the Podcast so you aren't bombarded with the same three every time. In the meantime I would hope that you would stick with us, keep downloading and enjoying the show, and maybe skip past the bits you don't like to listen to on your media player of choice.
Thanks for the feedback, this sort of information is always well received and you can get more interaction with the folks at WoW Radio who make these choices over at the forums (www.wcradio.com/forums/)
Stay Tuned,
~Turps

There are only 3 ads currently rotating on WoW Radio which come up to a grand total of 4 minutes. If you don't like it, don't listen, but we run a business, not a charity, and shifting 30TB a month of data is not free.
Seems ya can't please anyone these days. We don't honestly need listeners that do nothing more than whine and spout hyperbole and lies about our organization, since that's basically all you're doing, lying.

I watch a WoW video podcast (which I will not name here) and let me tell you, the ads are more numerous and far more annoying than the few minutes of ads during Wowradio shows.
Besides, the savage commercial is pretty funny, IMO.

Ooooh. Amanda Dean has done Kara and Mags? And that makes her qualified to say that PvP translates well into PvE?
Give me a break.
