Around Azeroth: Shooting for the moon
Hey, remember back when there were about three million hunters hanging out in Dire Maul, exploiting to farm gold? This is what Blizzard did to the ones who wouldn't leave. But seriously, folks, this screenshot was sent in by Nebuchadnezr of Zul'jin as part of a series featuring the golden statues of Dire Maul. The ancient elven city was ravaged long ago during the Sundering, so it's impossible to guess who the statues represent. I like to think that my first interpretation (golden gold farmer) is correct, because I enjoy terrible puns like that. But I'm sure someone else has a more informed guess. Any takers?
Do you have any unusual World of Warcraft images that are just collecting dust in your screenshots folder? We'd love to see it on Around Azeroth! Sharing your screenshot is as simple as e-mailing aroundazeroth@wow.com with a copy of your shot and a brief explanation of the scene. You could be featured here next!
Remember to include your player name, server and/or guild if you want it mentioned. We prefer full screen shots without the UI showing -- use alt-Z to remove it. Please, no sunsets.
