Poll: How many 70s do you have?
Drew sent us a question he wanted us to ask, and I'd like to know the answer to it as well: How many level 70 characters do you have? Blizzard has made changes to the leveling curve to make it easier to get alts up the ladder, but how many players are actually taking multiple characters all the way to 70?I'd also like to know, in the comments below, whether they're different classes or the same class -- I suspect that of the people who have multiple 70s, there are more folks who take the same class all the way up than we expect. And the other question is whether you're going to take all these 70s to level 80 or not -- will the Death Knight take up most of your time, or do you plan to get everyone at 70 up ten more levels in the future?
| None. Yet. | |
|---|---|
| Just the one. | |
| Two. | |
| Three. | |
| Four. | |
| Five! | |
| Six to eight. | |
| Nine -- one for every class. | |
| Ten or more. "Real life"? What's that? |

I have two 70s a Mage and a prot Warrior. Warrior is in t4 Mage is in T5 and T6. I will be running as the DK class lead (hopefully for my guild /crosses fingers) so the DK will be the first to 80

I have a 70 rogue and a warlock, got a 63 Paladin but kind of hate leveling it, though I love playing it when I do I mainly instance. I'll be making a Deathknight but im doubtful ill level it all the way up, at least... not immediatly.

I intend on getting as many character to 70 as I can between now and Wrath launch, and then deciding which one will be the first to 80.
I'm still undecided as to if I will push one to 80 while leaving the others in the dust or try and bring them all up at the same time.

Currently two level 70s, two different classes (druid first, hunter second). I have a third character, of a third class (priest), at level 66. I also have a 60 paladin and a 50 of each other class. I have a second hunter to 43, but she's stagnant.

I've just got one at 70, but I've got 3 others at 64, 66, and 68. So in another month or two, it could be 5.

I have 2, a rogue (my first toon) and a shadow priest. I deliberately picked a caster/healer for my second toon to level since I'd done melee and had no real interest in tanking. I've thought about levelling a druid, but the only reason would be to level a tank and I don't see a point in levelling and gearing a tank at this point in the cycle.
I might level a DK as a tank - we'll see. I'll def roll one... but I want to move the spriest to 80 fast.

LOL I did the exact same. Rogue for my main, then after about 6 months of raiding, leveled a shadow priest.
I wanted a caster the second time around, and I loved the idea of having a hybrid class - dps or heals.
Doesn't matter how geared my rogue is, the raid leaders always seem to prefer the shadow priest, so I guess I did the right thing lol.
No real interest in leveling a death knight, but I think I'll take the priest to 80 first.

Three, each a different class. My mage was my first wow creation ever back on launch week, and I can't let him go even though I tend to prefer playing healers now: Priest and Shammy. Priest will likely be first to 80, later the mage, and maybe some other alt I am leveling now.

4 70s currently, with more on the way. 70(Mage, Shaman, Druid, Hunter), 60+(Warlock 63, Paladin 60), 45+(Priest 46, Rogue 46, Warrior 50)
Gorrn Jun 25th 2008 3:15PM
I have a 70 pally and a couple others. I'm levelling a warrior currently and plan to multibox the pally and warrior to 80 together. :)

I have 3 70's, a holy priest(which will be my first to 80), a frost mage & a marksman hunter! In my spare time i will definitely level a DK.
Melissa Jun 25th 2008 3:18PM
I have 9, and yes it's one of every class. I had 8 60s, one of every Alliance class when TBC came out. And I will have 10 80s after Wrath comes out. :)
I really don't find leveling is much work; it's more the time, effort, and money needed to invest in those max level characters if you want to do anything other than, say, dailies on them! (Some of my characters' gear still kind of sucks, but some of them are wearing T5/6.)
Travis Green Jun 25th 2008 3:21PM
I have a 70 warrior, hunter, mage, druid and paladin. I'm hoping to add a warlock and priest to the mix before WOTLK.
Eternalpayn Jun 25th 2008 3:20PM
I've got a rogue at 67, almost 68... Should have waited 2 weeks on this poll.
