"I am Murloc" gets rocked already

Well that didn't take long. Despite the song only being announced yesterday,"I am Murloc" has been 5-starred on Expert, and you can see the video above to prove it. You can also see the notes they've chosed -- as a veteran of all three Guitar Hero games (and a current owner of Rock Band, though "Green Grass" is giving me trouble on Expert), I have to say that it looks pretty simple, especially compared to some of the other songs in GH3. It is too bad that they used the normal Guitar Hero 3 singer, too, and not a virtual version of Samwise.
If you want something a little tougher, head down after the jump to see a hacked custom version of "I am Murloc" for Guitar Hero 2. The phrasing on that one seems to fit much more, and it seems to work a little better than the official version that got released in the latest game.

Yea, really. Less clicking, more music. Perfecting a song on Rock Guitar Hero Band is only slightly more impressive than finding a quarter on the street.

Seriously, I hate this band. I'm a big time WoW fan of course, but come on. You name your band after WoW and only play music based on WoW? They aren't even as talented as people give them credit for. All their playing is so repetitive. They only get supporters because it's based on WoW.

Lead Vocals are done by Samwise Didier, who is the Lead Artist for Blizzard and is responsible for the look and feel of pretty much all the Blizzard franchises.
Guitar is played by Chris Sigaty, while Drums are played by Allan Dabiri.
And Bass Guitar is Mike Morhaime - you may have heard of him, he is the President of Blizzard Entertainment.

I 5 starred it the first time I loaded it up, way easier then alot of the other songs on there. I did not 100% but still 5d it, wouldn't take to much practice to hit 100 though.

this'd be a better rock band song, imho... the guitar part may be forgettable (cough cough stolen from metallica), but the murloc noise? that'd be sweet to make your friends do. :-)

I've only had GH3 for a couple of weeks (new Wii owner) I'm a couple songs away from 5ing medium and I'm done the first 3 sets of hard. In short, that still looks pretty damn impressive to me.
Gotta agree with the comments on his strumming technique though... wonder how many guitars he's gone through playing like that!

ofc he didnt rock it he was using the no-fail cheat
so even if u fail the entire song you dont lose
