Silly blogger. A 'tank' tree for pets doesn't mean hunter pets will be able to tank 5-mans.... it means hunter pets will be nerfed to be able to hold not aggro whatsoever any more, and you have to spec into this tree just to get them back to the pathetic autoshot-only or they lose aggro state they are in now.

It could also be that Blizzard has heard the call, and perhaps this could give hunters a chance to have their pet hold more aggro than the current pre-stated amount. If it means losing a little DPS to having a pet that was more certain than ever to hold aggro while questing/grinding, sure, I'd go for it. I don't mind if fights take just a little longer.I'm not certain if I'm phrasing this right, but one thing I notice is that hunters' feelings on what their pets should and shouldn't do is all over the road. The pet talent tree is a great way for a hunter to decide exactly how they'd like their pet to act. I think it's awesome. :)
